The faceoff between the Peoples Democratic Party and the All Progressives Congress following the defection of Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki, from the latter to the former continues with Femi Fani-Kayode lambasting ex-Edo State Governor, Adams Oshiomhole.
Both parties have been engaged in a war of words since Sarakiโs defected alongside his loyalist.
On Thursday the war took a new turn when the APC, through its acting National Publicity Secretary, Yekini Nabena, claimed that a โmeanโ man like Saraki who allegedly โbetrayed his father, sister (many times)โ does not deserve the Senate President that should be โreserved for the best of the bestโ

Reacting on his Twitter account, Fani-Kayode slammed the APC and its national chairman, asking him โwhat did your father achieve?โ
Whilst insulting @bukolasaraki the APC had the nerve to bring in his father. My question for Gorilla Oshiomole is this: WHO is ur father?We loved and reverred Dr. Olusola Saraki.He was one of the greats! I ask again: Gorilla Osho,who is ur father and what did he achieve in life?

If I had seen Oshiomoleโs insult on Bukolaโs father first, I would have reminded him that we donโt choose our fathers. However, being poor and unknown is not a crime, stealing and embezzling poor peopleโs monies is!

On the side of all parties involved in this childish and infant attitude, this is classless and highly immature. Politics should always be about issues and not persons. FFK could defect to APC any moment and vice-versa. They should learn from Akpabioโs classy use of words.
