Social media act, Debo Adedayo, aka Mr Macaroni has threatened to beat up any fan who asks him for financial assistance.
He made this known in a tweet on Friday.
The 28-year-old said; “I think it is wickedness to be asking anybody for money this period. Everywhere Red!!! Bird is not singing like bird and rat is not crying like rat.
“If anybody ask me for money right now, I go wipe you USB chord for neck.”
Reacting to his tweet, @DanielRegha said; “I notice that majority of people online help for clout i.e. when there’re strings attached; It’s a sickening mindset. When people solicit for financial assistance to foot necessary bills, people barely engage, but will go above & beyond to finance trending projects to get noticed.
@Emperorkovic said; “There’s nothing wrong, disgraceful or wicked about asking people for financial assistance as long as the help-seeker isn’t feeling entitled. So if someone asks u for money, do ur best to help cos putting a smile on one’s face is a privilege. The essence of life is serving others.
@AlhChisom said; ‘If you must ask, ask politely and not with a sense of entitlement.
And if you must decline, let it be respectfully and not to shame who is asking. This life no balance”.
