A Twitter user, Egboja Isaac, on Monday, Decemeber 19, 2016, explained how he and other passengers were stranded for over two hours on a train from Abuja to Kaduna.
According to Isaac, the Kaduna bound train developed a mechanical fault in the middle of nowhere and for more than two hours they had no access to food and water.
In the photo attached to the tweet, some passengers were seen seated on the rail track, while others were seen in the background making their way into the bush.

In some of the comments that followed the tweet, many blamed the Nigerian Railway Corporation for not maintaining the trains. Others call for the overhauling of all the trains in Nigeria.
@egbojalaughter something as simple as maintaining what has been built is even now a challenge
