The Nigerian Drug Law Enforcement Agency has said it recovered drugs from the house of skit Maker, DeGeneral, while confirming the agency’s invasion of his home in the early hours of Wednesday.

Spokesperson for the NDLEA, Femi Babafemi, made this known in a terse message and promised to give a detailed statement in a shortwile.

He said, “He’s a skit maker. Drugs were recovered from his house. We’ll issue a detailed statement on the arrest shortly.

WuzupNigeria had reported that a video circulating online shows the moment officials of the NDLEA invaded DeGeneral’s home in the middle of the night.

The NDLEA officials are reported to have assaulted DeGeneral and his friends.

A part of the video, made popular by BBNaija reality tv star, Ike Onyema, shows the skit maker and his friends being beaten by the officials of the agency who frowned at his decision to record the scene.

One of the officials could be heard raising his voice while telling DeGeneral that he has no right to record them despite his calls for him to be allowed to express his fundamental human rights.
