We must chase APC, PDP politricians out in 2023, says Seun Kuti
Sun Kuti, son of late Afrobeat pioneer, Fela Anikulapo Kuti has charged Nigerian youths and the poor to chase the All Progressives Party (APC) and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) out of government come 2023 elections.
In reaction to videos of hoarded palliative discovered by residents in Osun, the singer blasted Nigerian politicians which he labelled ‘politricians’.
According to Seun on his official Twitter handle on Monday, politicians in Nigeria are evil and wicked.
“Dis Naija politricians are all evil and wicked, we Naija youths and poor must chase both APC and PDP politricians out of our govt in 2023 #endoppression liberation generation(soro soke generation) aluta,” he tweeted.
Over the past week, Nigeria has experienced a number of lootings of warehouses where COVID-19 palliatives were stored.
Starting from Lagos to Ogun, Osun, Kwara, Jos and a few other states, many people were recorded carting away with food materials such as rice, garri, spaghetti, noodles and so on.
Many have since slammed the politicians for hoarding the food supplements which were meant to have been shared during the COVID-19 lockdown that began in March so as to help people through the economic strain caused by the pandemic.
However, respective state governments have denied hoarding the food materials which people claim to have expired.
R=Nigerians have overtime clamoured and lamented poor governance as well as deprivation of basic amenities and according to Seun, it is high time Nigerians got rid of them in the next elections.
