The management team of Folarin Falana popularly known by his stage name, Falz, have said they are not withdrawing the controversial ‘This is Nigeria’ video that has gone viral online.
The management team made their stance known through the Twitter handle of one Kayode Ogundamisi.
The statement is a response to the seven-day ultimatum an Islamic group, Muslims Rights Concern issued to the rapper, on Tuesday, ordering him to take down his ‘This is Nigeria’ video or face legal actions from them.
The group claims that the video ridicules Islam because some girls wearing hijab were seen dancing ‘shaku shaku.’
Falz’s management team insisted that the video won’t be taken down and advised the group to head to court to address their grievances, noting that they are ready to meet them in court.
