Actor and former Big Brother Africa Winner, Uti Nwachukwu, has called out people who use the social media platform to beg and ask for favours from people.
The former BBA winner said that Instagram was not a platform for fans to always demand and, sometimes, even lay curses on Nigerians/celebrities who do not give them what they asked of.
The actor encouraged people who are guilty of “social media begging” to find something doing and also be a channel of blessing to their family.
He said people should understand that everyone has their needs and wants.
Lately, the country’s economy has made ‘begging on social media a norm. Some Nigerians go as far as insulting celebrities and some wealthy Nigerians who refuse to give out cash or gifts.
