#EndSARS: VP Osinbajo finally speaks on Lekki shooting
Nigeria’s vice president, Professor Yemi Osinbajo has finally reacted to the shooting of #EndSARS protesters in the Lekki area of Lagos state.
Recall that on Tuesday evening, armed men in military uniform opened fire on protesters who had gathered at the Lekki toll gate for two weeks.
The shooting sparked global outrage as many prominent Nigerians including international bodies and public figures criticised President Muhammadu Buhari and the vice-president for not commenting on the shooting.
Reacting to the shooting on Wednesday via his official Twitter handle, Osinbajo in a series of tweets said the victims will get justice.
