Social media commentator Emmanuel Obruste, widely known as Geh Geh, has expressed doubt over the ability of former Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi to defeat President Bola Tinubu, even in what he described as a free and fair election.
In a video that has generated widespread reactions online, Geh Geh argued that Obi’s political coordination remains weak ahead of the 2027 general election.
He maintained that although Obi is frequently described by supporters as a visionary leader, concerns persist regarding his strategic preparation and positioning for the next presidential contest.
The commentator further stated that the absence of a well-defined political structure could significantly hinder any serious attempt to unseat the incumbent.
Geh Geh also noted that many Nigerians remain unsure about Obi’s current political alignment and the depth of his grassroots network, stressing that greater clarity in these areas would be vital as the 2027 elections approach.
“Peter Obi can never beat Tinubu and I’ll give four reasons. Number one, he does not have structure. Peter Obi does not have structure. He na leader wey get vision but he no get path on how to reach that vision. Many people up till now never know the political party where Peter dey,” he said.
