Rising music star Olawale Isreal-Lagbokun, better known as Bims, collapsed while performing at Rema’s concert in Lagos on Sunday, December 22, 2024.
The incident happened mid-performance as Bims entertained the crowd alongside two dancers. At first, the audience thought it was part of the show, but concern grew when crew members rushed to the stage to assist him. Bims was quickly carried off the stage by aides, leaving fans in shock and confusion.
A video of the incident, which has gone viral online, shows the moment Bims collapsed and was attended to by crew members.

As of now, there has been no official statement on his condition, and Rema has not commented on the event.
The incident has sparked widespread reactions on social media. While many fans expressed their worry and sent get-well messages, others speculated that it might have been a publicity stunt.
One user, Stonaman1.0, commented, “No be only Colos and laud every time, try dey exercise as artist before you climb stage. E get why.”
Another, Tochi_lifestyle, wrote, “This should better be a PR stunt.”
