A video of vice president, Yemi Osinbajo eating banana with primary school pupils inside classroom has got the social media buzzing.

WuzupNigeria gathered that the incident happened at Alagbaka Estate Primary School in Akure, Ondo state, Nigeria.

Osinbajo was on a two-day visit to the state for the launch of the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises clinic.

After he reportedly took the pupils on academic course, the vice president alongside Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State partook in the meal session.

A source reiterated that before sharing the meal with the pupils, he joined the English class of the school’s Pry 3B class and read a comprehension passage to them.

He also noted that teaching was something he enjoyed as a former university lecturer.

Osinbajo noted that the purpose of the homegrown feeding programme was to ensure that children are fed with a good meal every day.
