VIDEO: Portable reacts to Headies disqualification

Controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola aka Portable, has reacted to his disqualification as a nominee of music award show, Headies.
The organisers announced his disqualification on Tuesday after being the subject of criminal investigation by police.
Portable who had been nominated for the Best Street Artist and Rookie of the Year categories is being investigated by the police for claiming to have founded two criminal gangs, One Million Boys and Ajah Boys.
In addition to the criminal investigation, Headies also cited the threat to kill or cause harm to fellow nominees, as the reason for his disqualification.
However, in a new video on his Instagram page after the disqualification, he boasted about having fans and influence.
Portable said, “Street has taken over. I’ve got people, I know people, I have fans, one million fans.
“I’m street, no ripping…if you don’t know how to sing again, stop. I have no competition. Don’t buy awards.”
