A coalition of civil society groups on Monday in Abuja demanded the return of President Muhammadu Buhari from his medical leave in the United Kingdom, saying he should resume in office or resign.
The protesters led by the President of all frustrated Nigerians, Charly Boy, continued the day two march in Abuja with the heavy presence of the Nigerian Police.
One of the protesters, @adeyanjudeji tweeted that over 120 policemen attacked them and used tear gas, water cannon and dogs to intimidate them adding that there was an order from above to stop them from carrying out the planned daily sit out protest.
