Nollywood actor and politician, Desmond Elliot, admitted on Monday that he knew there would be ‘calamity’ at the Lekki Tollgate when he first got wind of soldiers’ arrival.
Elliot, whose wife was recently delivered of a set of twins, made the disclosure in an interview on TVC.
According to the Lagos lawmaker, any Nigerian would express emotion and feel for the victims of the massacre.
While stating that he never doubted the truth regarding the incident because he knows the truth will eventually come out.
The Nollywood veteran recalled how the military junta denied that they wronged the late winner of the annulled June 12, 1993 election, MKO Abiola, until the current administration acknowledged it and further adopted the date as the new democracy date.
