A Closed-circuit television (CCTV) clip, also known as video surveillance, released by the Sahara reporters shows the moment human rights activist, Omoyele Sowore was whisked away by operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS) on Sunday.
The former presidential aspirant was arrested because he called for a #RevolutionIsNow protest in Nigeria.
It was gathered that the โheavily armedโ DSS men stormed Soworeโs home between 1:15 am and 1:25 am (WAT) on Saturday.

The men numbering eight cordoned off the building and arrested the rights activist after a slight altercation in the gym, Sahara reports.
Meanwhile, DSS spokesperson, Peter Afunanya, while addressing reporters in Abuja Sunday afternoon, said the DSS was โawareโ of information that Sowore had been in touch with foreign actors to destabilise Nigeria.
