World Wrestling Entertainment Superstar, Ethan Page, has opened up about an uncomfortable fan interaction that left him feeling the need to address the situation after a photo opportunity took an unexpected turn.
Speaking during a live episode of Chris Van Vliet’s “Insight” podcast, the WWE star recalled the moment a fan placed an arm around him for a picture and accidentally touched his butt.
While Page acknowledged that the contact may not have been intentional, he explained that he wanted the fan to know he was aware of what happened.
Page said he prides himself on being genuine with fans but believes it is important to call out moments that cross a line, even if they happen by accident. He also recalled the fan later asking for a fist bump after the incident, which led to a humorous but direct response from the wrestler.
“He did [touch my butt] though. This is what I’m talking about. I’m as genuine as possible, but when people do things. Listen, I understand that it’s an accident, maybe, but I’m for sure going to call you out on it, because it happened and I want you to know that I know it happened.»
“[Van Vliet recalls Page telling the fan that they’d done enough touching when the fan wanted a fist bump] Well, we have [done enough touching!] We for sure have! What else do you want? Now you’re going to ask permission for one more. Oh you already took what you get.”»
Page’s comments highlighted his reaction to the awkward encounter and his belief that fans should remain respectful during personal interactions, even in casual moments such as taking photos.
The former NXT North American Champion joined WWE in 2024 and quickly made history by winning the NXT World Championship shortly after his debut, setting the record for the fastest rise from arriving in NXT to capturing the title.
Page has also held the AAA Mixed Tag Team Championship with Chelsea Green and currently competes on WWE RAW.
