VIDEO: Actor Yemi Solade berates Twitter over Buhari’s deleted tweet
Veteran Nollywood actor and movie producer, Yemi Solade has lampooned Twitter over the manner the microblogging platform deleted the tweet of the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari.
While justifying the #TwitterBan in Nigeria, Solade disclosed that he regarded the action of the microblogging platform as an insult to the president.
Solade stated that Twitter’s action reeks of the “White Supremacy” that many Europeans still exhibit, adding that such reproach should be properly addressed.
“Everybody has a right to expression but when a platform is used to form trouble and project Anarchy, there should be rules regulating such practices,” he said.
