Veteran Yoruba actress, Toyin Afolayan, popular called by her stage name Lola Idije, is now a grandmother.
Lola Idije announced the arrival of her grandson few hours ago on her Instagram page, writing, “God has done it again, my grandson has arrived and i am very happy to be a grandmother, may God almighty bless him and he shall be a source of happiness to me and everyone around him.”

Lola Idije has been featuring in movies close to three decades. She is regarded as one of the pioneers that made modern Yoruba films production blossom.
She is the aunt of popular movie director and actor, Kunle Afolayan.
