The National President of Actors Guild of Nigeria Engr. Amb. Emeka Ike (TURAKIN KUDENDAN), on Tuesday, visited Uncle Tunde Alabi whose leg was amputated at the General Hospital, Lagos, after battling with diabetes for years.
Emeka Ike who is a veteran Nollywood actor was accompanied to the hospital by Mr Victor Edogun, the AGN Vice President South West, Director Paul Julius and few others.
The National President was conducted round by Julius to see the Director of the Hospital Social Welfare Department and the Medical Director where he expressed his heartfelt gratitude to them and assured them that the Guild as a body are on top of the matter and making adequate plans for uncle Tunde’s rehabilitation.
Emeka Ike before leaving the hospital made a personal donation to the ailing uncle Tunde and promised to support him at the National level by the special grace of God. He also promised that his regime would do everything possible to uplift the standard of living of actors by putting up a strong structure that will last.
He thanked Nigerians worldwide especially those that have in one way or the other contributed to keep uncle Tunde alive.
Emeka Ike stated that as a Guild they would do their best to reach the people at the top, and urged Nigerians not to relent in their effort to save a life.
