Amid rising online agitation, Martins Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan’s protégé, Veryfairman, has sparked social media stir after announcing his withdrawal from a planned protest for the activist’s release.

Recall that the recent arrest of VeryDarkMan by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has generated widespread online reactions, with many fans expressing outrage and demanding his freedom.

Veryfairman had initially taken the lead, vowing to stage a peaceful demonstration in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, to demand justice.

In a video message, he declared, “All ratels in Portharcourt be on standby, We protest note: peaceful protest vdm must gain freedom.”

However, not long after making the announcement, Veryfairman shared another video explaining why he would no longer be leading the protest.

In the emotionally charged clip, he cited health complications and claimed he had been attacked through diabolical means.

Visibly shaken, he pleaded for public prayers, stating he feared for his life.

A separate video posted on his page showed him in distress, with an accompanying caption that read, “Please @veryfairman1 needs your prayers. Earlier today he was unconscious but currently treatment are ongoing. He can’t be able to lead PH protest on Tues #freevdm courtesy: brother.”

The incident has further intensified concerns among supporters, who continue to call for VeryDarkMan’s release and demand accountability from authorities.
