Popular social critic Martins Otse, known as VeryDarkMan, has raised concerns for his safety after his home address was leaked online.

In a recent video, VDM revealed that his current address was exposed in a cease-and-desist letter shared on social media.

The letter dated September 19, 2024,, which was issued by Mrs. Esinjemiyotan Uruneyonjueyi Atsepoyi, wife of Mr. Freedom Okpetoritse Atsepoyi, also known as Mr. Jollof, threatens legal action against VDM following allegations he made against Mrs. Atsepoyi.

VDM, during his online exchange with Mr Jollof alleged the comedian’s wife slept with powerful men to ensure he was given a role as the senior special adviser to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta state on new media.

He further accused Jollof’s wife of paternity fraud urging him (Mr Jollof) to consider conducting a DNA test on his children.

In the letter, Mrs. Atsepoyi formally demanded an apology from VeryDarkMan, asserting that his statements about her were false and harmful.

VDM explained that while the letter was not directly sent to him, it was addressed to him or his legal representatives.

His main concern is the public disclosure of his address, which he says has put his safety at risk.

In an emotional video, VDM said, “I can no longer go home, my current address has been compromised. I have to start looking for another house. I am living in a hotel, and I am scared to even go home to pick up my clothes.”

This incident comes after another controversy involving VDM, where he leaked an audio recording in which Nigerian cross-dresser Bobrisky allegedly admitted to paying EFCC officials N15 million to drop money laundering charges.

The viral recording sparked significant reactions on social media, adding to the public attention surrounding VDM.
