Social media critic, Martins Vincent Otse, known as VeryDarkMan, has submitted a complaint to the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control about Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin’s healing products.
On August 9, 2024, VeryDarkMan delivered the miracle soap and water from Fufeyin to NAFDAC’s office in Abuja.
In a video posted online, VeryDarkMan expressed his hope that NAFDAC will act to protect the public from potentially harmful products.
He said, “Now all eyes on @nafdac_ng, let’s see if they are truly doing their jobs to protect citizens from unregistered products that might be harmful to Nigerians or maybe it is by connection.”
VeryDarkMan previously challenged the legitimacy of Fufeyin’s miracle soap and water.
This move follows a legal battle between VeryDarkMan and Prophet Fufeyin. Fufeyin, the founder of Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministry, has filed a ₦1 billion lawsuit against VeryDarkMan for defamation.
In a recent video, VeryDarkMan revealed that Fufeyin had also served him with a restraining order.
He shared, “Pastor Jeremiah has sued me with ₦1 billion and I should not speak about him again. We must meet in court. I am coming to the court with 700 blind people, 36 women seeking the fruit of the womb, and 800 deaf people. You must use your healing water and soap to heal all of them before the judge.”
Despite the legal threats, VeryDarkMan continued his criticism by testing Fufeyin’s products on disabled individuals in Abuja.
He shared videos of himself administering the miracle water to these individuals which delivered no healing effects as the products claimed.
Prophet Fufeyin launched his miracle products in June, claiming they were approved by NAFDAC.
However, these claims have been questioned, especially by VeryDarkMan, who remains determined to expose what he sees as fraudulent practices.
