A recent autopsy report has revealed the cause of a US actress and model Jacky Oh’s death is cosmetic surgery complications.
Jacky, who starred in the popular show “Wild ‘N Out,” with her husband DC Young Fly, hosted by Nick Cannon, passed away on May 31st at age 33.
The tragic incident occurred when Jacky Oh was found unresponsive in her hotel room on May 31, as reported by the Miami Police Department. She had traveled to Miami with her aunt to undergo cosmetic surgery.
The autopsy report indicates that Jacky Oh underwent a “gluteal augmentation procedure” the day before her death, which involved liposuction to transfer fat to her buttocks.
The initial procedure went smoothly without complications, and she was prescribed antibiotics, pain medication, and anti-nausea medication.
However, after the surgery, Jacky Oh developed a severe headache, which continued to worsen even after a massage.
A nurse advised her to take Ibuprofen and discontinue the anti-nausea medication. She also complained that her head felt like it was “burning.”
Her aunt called emergency services when Jacky Oh had difficulty speaking, but tragically, she became unresponsive before they arrived.
She was transported to HCA Florida Mercy Hospital, where she was pronounced dead shortly before midnight.
The autopsy revealed that Jacky Oh had swelling in her brain and bleeding of the skin around her torso.
She had also undergone breast surgery in the past.
