American gymnastics superstar Simone Biles has once again demonstrated her incredible talent by winning her 21st world title in the all-around competition at the World Gymnastics Championships in Antwerp, Belgium.

Biles put on a dazzling display, earning a score of 58.399 points and securing the gold medal.

She outperformed defending champion Rebeca Andrade of Brazil, who scored 56.766 points, and her U.S. teammate Shilese Jones.

Biles showed her dominance on three of the four apparatuses, with the uneven bars being the exception.

This remarkable achievement adds to Biles’s already impressive collection of 27 world medals, including 21 golds.

Earlier in the week, she also led the U.S. women’s team to their seventh consecutive team title.

In total, Simone Biles now boasts 34 medals across the world championships and Olympics, making her the most decorated gymnast ever, surpassing the previous record held by Belarusian Vitaly Scherbo.

Reflecting on her victory, Biles shared her emotions: “Actually, I had something in my eye today that I couldn’t get out, I swear it’s true.”

“But I was emotional because 10 years ago, I won my first worlds and now we’re back here.”

She expressed the significance of her return to Antwerp, Belgium, where she began her world medal collection in 2013, saying, “It means everything to me, after everything I’ve put in to get back to this place to feel comfortable and confident enough to compete.”

With more days of competition ahead, Biles is expected to add to her impressive medal collection as she continues to excel in the sport.

Her journey back to the top has been remarkable, especially considering her break from gymnastics to focus on her mental health after experiencing “the twisties” during the Tokyo Olympics.
