Twitter has restricted President Donald Trump’s tweet for alleging foul play by the opposition in the ongoing US presidential elections.

Trump faces a tough battle from Democrat’s Joe Biden for the seat of the White House as he attempts a second term in the office.

In the early hours of Wednesday, Trump had accused the opposition of trying to steal the election and declared that he is leading the poll, although not according to local media.

We are up BIG, but they are trying to STEAL the Election. We will never let them do it. Votes cannot be cast after the Polls are closed!

The restriction placed on Trump’s tweet has disabled the major functions such as retweet, comment or like, except retweet with comment (Quote tweet) for breaching Twitter rule on unverified information.

At the time of this report, Biden has pulled 213 electoral votes and Trump a maximum of 138, winning 17 and 19 states respectively, according to local media.
