A man received thunderous slaps on Thursday from a yet to be identified policeman officer after his body mistakenly touched that of the officer attached to the WEMA bank located at Lafenwa, Abeokuta, Ogun State.
Reports said the victim was passing by the bank when his body touched that of the policeman and he immediately apologised, but all he got in response was thunderous slaps.
The officer then insisted that he should follow him to their van and also started asking him to identify himself and reveal the content of his bag. The victim did as instructed and showed him the clothes and bible therein.
Apparently, the man found the entire situation funny, prompting him to laugh. This, however, got the officer angry again, making him land another slap on his face for laughing.
His drunk colleague later joined them and the victim was only released after some women started begging the officers.
