The Thailand Police have arrested a Nigerian for allegedly entering the country with a visa.
Dominic Ifechokwu Anigo was alleged to have sneaked across the border to live in Sa Kaew’s Aranyaprathet district, Thailand.
According to reports, Sa Kaew police chief Pol Col Benjapol Rodsawat told a press conference Monday morning Anigo was arrested in Aranyaprathet on Sunday, 2nd September 2018.

He was picked up in front of Wang Pla Tong Market. His passport did not show an entry visa stamp and he was thus charged with unlawful entry into the kingdom.
Wuzup Naija recalled that the Thailand Police had last month announced that it will be visiting about 1,400 Nigerians in the country to confirm they have no connection with criminal activities.
Deputy tourist police chief Pol Maj Gen Surachet Hakpal who announced this on August 10, said the measure is necessary for preventing criminals from coming to use Thailand as a base for illegal activities.
