The story that Laura Ikeji Kanu’s husband, Christopher Ogbonnaya Kanu (better known as Ogbonna) was once married to a British woman, Hannah Turay and had two kids to show for the union has been dismissed by the couple.
The retired Nigerian footballer and brother of Kanu Nwankwo debunked the rumours of a previous marriage to the British woman in his recent Instagram post.
He admitted to having two beautiful kids but insists that he was not married to the children’s mother. He empathetically stated that he is only married to his pregnant wife Laura Ikeji Kanu.
“People, I just want to let you all know that I was not married prior to my marriage to Laura I’m happy to be married to Laura, my wife.”
The pregnant Laura who is very active on her social media handles also clarified the news reports.
“This nicca of mine has only been married ONCE in his entire life and that’s to me.
“He has 2 beautiful and well-trained kids that I love and adore.
“Ogbonna and I are beyond husband and wife. We’re like siblings. I adore this man. @ogbobekee1 So no news here. She wrote.
