Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha, on Thursday January 5, 2016, changed the lives of some families in the metropolis.
Reports have it that the governor during a programme at Hero’s square, Owerri, the maiden edition of “Starting The Year With Jesus” an all night praise, prayer, worship and songs ministrations, happily danced with selected children from different families.
The children the Governor danced with comprised; a male, Chijioke about 17 years old, a pure water seller, who says his father is a loader at motor park. Also was Precious Nwaogu, Female, whose both parents are jobless. These two were invited by the Governor to dance with him on stage.
After they have all danced to their satisfaction, the governor said he wants to appreciate his dance partners, and asked what he can do for them, but they kept mute out of shock.
Okorocha upon observing their silent, decided to give them five hundred thousand Naira cash each, making it one million Naira. He congratulated them as well as assured them that their lives can never be the same again.
