The war against contraband goods in Nigeria received a massive boost over the weekend when the Nigeria Customs Service seized over N3million worth of Indian hemp in Ogun state.
A report on the official Facebook page of the border post agency showed that the contraband was handed over the Nigeria Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) in the state.
The post on their Facebook page reads: “Inter Agency Collaboration
“Ogun Customs Area Command Handed over 122 parcels of neatly packaged substance suspected to be Indian hemp to officials of NDLEA.
“The suspected substance were seized along Ayetoro/Imeko axis of the command, valued at N3,050,000.00, weighing 137.8kg.”
