Senator Dino Melaye representing Kogi central senatorial district at the National Assembly is not a strange face in Nigeria’s political and social media affairs.
In fact, he is one of those who make statements on the social media and are being hailed by their followers as true representation of democracy in the country, especially when he stood up against some policies of the present administration.
The senator is presently in Geneva, Switzerland, where alongside the senate president, Bukola Saraki and some other lawmakers, are representing Nigeria at the IPU conference.
He shared some pictures of him wearing a t-shirt and the caption on it has got people talking, asking why a Nigerian lawmaker would wear such to an international event.
The inscription is: “You’re killing me smalls.”
The question that readily comes to heart is who he is directing the statement at and why he chose the conference of all places to make such statement.
