Uganda’s Chief of Defence Forces, Muhoozi Kainerugaba, has ignited fresh reactions on social media after once again expressing his desire to marry American music superstar Beyoncé Knowles-Carter.
Kainerugaba, who is also the son of President Yoweri Museveni, made the declaration in a series of posts on his verified X account, where he said he planned to hold a one-man protest at Kampala’s City Square to publicly express his admiration for the Grammy-winning singer, who has been married to hip-hop icon Jay-Z for 18 years.
The posts, which were later deleted, indicated that the planned demonstration would be called the “I’m here Beyoncé” protest.
“If Beyoncé doesn’t even know me, I’m going to mount a 1-man demonstration at City Square,” Kainerugaba wrote.
