Mezut Ozil of Arsenal showed star stuff Tuesday evening when he scored a delightful solo goal to ensure the club’s unbeaten start to this year’s UEFA Champions League continues.

Playing away to Ludogorets, Arsenal were already trailing by two goals in the first 15 minutes of the first half before strikes by Granit Xhaka and Olivier Giroud ensured that the Gunners went into the break with the hope of changing things in the second half.

The much-anticipated goal for the London giants came, however, when the match was about to end as Ozil scored a masterclass solo goal in the 87th minute to send the away fans into a wild jubilation.

He dribbled the home goalkeeper, beat the defenders who had come to their goalie’s rescue before slotting the ball into an empty net.
