Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappe has said that his team can still make a comeback in their Champions League quarter-final tie against Arsenal.

Mbappe spoke after Real Madrid lost 3-0 to the English side on Tuesday night at the Emirates Stadium in the first leg of the match.

Declan Rice scored twice for Arsenal, while Mikel added one more to give the Gunners a strong lead.

Even though the result was disappointing, Mbappe believes there is still hope for Real Madrid when they play the second leg at home.

“The comeback is possible, of course. We have to believe until the end,” Mbappe said, according to football journalist Fabrizio Romano.

The return leg will be played next week Wednesday at the Santiago Bernabeu in Spain.

Before that, Real Madrid will face Alaves in their next La Liga match on Sunday.

Coach Carlo Ancelotti is now expected to push his players hard as they prepare for the second leg, hoping to turn the scoreline around and keep their Champions League dreams alive.
