Manchester United captain, Harry Maguire, Maso Greenwood and new signing, Edinson Cavani have been included in the club’s squad to face German si RB Leipzig in tonight’s Champions League encounter.
United were without the trio when they conquered Paris Saint Germain with a 2-1 win at the Parc de France stadium last Tuesday.
The duo of Maguire and Greenwood missed out due to injuries while Cavani was given a break to allow him to regain his full fitness.
According to the club’s website, centre-back Eric Bailly and midfielder Jesse Lingard are likely to be the only absentees for the Group H clash, safe any late incidents.
“It’s more or less the same squad”
, Ole told reporters at his pre-match press conference.
“There are a couple of doubts, as you normally have after a weekend game, a tight game as we had against Chelsea.
“I think we’ve more or less the same squad.”
The United boss also said midfielder Donny Van De Beek will get his chance to play a part in United’s season after being overlooked for many of the fixtures so far since joining from Ajax this summer.
“It’s going to be a long season and, of course, the depth of our squad is better now and to leave players out like the last game, Donny, Nemanja and Paul started on the bench, they are all experienced international footballers,” Solskjaer said.
United face Leipzig at Old Trafford on Wednesday night for the first time in history.
