American actor and R&B singer Tyrese Gibson has shown deep admiration for Nigerian gospel artist Grace Idowu after watching a powerful worship video of her online.

The viral clip, which shows Grace singing with passion, was posted on Tyrese’s official Instagram page. Moved by her voice and spirit, Tyrese wrote, “@gracee_idowu just wow…. I wanna do your whole album!”

Tyrese’s post has since sparked an outpouring of reactions from fans, gospel lovers, and fellow Nigerians.

While many are celebrating the international recognition, some fans have advised Grace to remain spiritually grounded.

A user with the handle jaivyjewelry wrote, “We should not get excited over every thing that looks good. Ask God first if it is indeed good.”

Another user, yur_boyfriend, expressed concern about the influence of her record label, saying, “If she’s under a record label just watch out how the record label will make her lose this opportunity.”

On a more uplifting note, dorathy.celestine.16 encouraged the singer, writing, “Grace indeed speaks. Just do you… God will handle the rest. I honor this Grace.”

Others shared joy and admiration, with z_thecrownjewel commenting, “Song is from the heart of a worshipper!” and official_johnbyjohn adding, “Congratulations @gracee_idowu… this is indeed the hand of God.”

Grace Idowu Ibukunoluwa is a rising gospel singer who was signed to Brand New Records under Brand New Entertainment in January 2020. She was also selected in February 2020 as one of 30 artists in Mr Eazi’s emPawa Africa program, an initiative to support and grow African music talents.

Her first extended play, titled “Amazing God,” was released in February 2020. The lead song from the project, “Jesus,” introduced her to a wider audience and marked the start of her music journey.

Grace has not yet publicly responded to Tyrese’s offer, but her fans are already excited about the possibility of a global collaboration that could open more doors for Nigerian gospel music.
