Two fresh suspected cases of COVID-19 discovered in kano

Two suspected COVOD-19 cases, on Saturday, were identified in the Kaura Goje community, Nasarrawa Local Government Area of Kano State.

According to the investigation, the two suspected sneaked into Kano three days ago, from Lagos, aboard a 911 truck, despite the closure of Kano State borders.

However, on arrival three days ago, the principal suspects’ mother observed that her son, name withheld, was coughing and sneezing persistently, a situation that prompted her to alert Healthcare Primary Health authorities, within the community.

Thereafter, it was gathered that some Health officials, who were dispatched to the area took the samples of the suspected cases to the Kano State COVID-19 test center for analysis.

Meanwhile, a reliable source, who does not want his name in print confided with this reporter that the two suspects have been isolated in their private residences, pending their relocation to the State Isolation center, while the outcome of the samples is been awaited.

Also, one of the suspects, who earlier absconded has been caught by a combined team of security agents and isolated.
