A twitter user, Isa Ozo  has narrated how he was robbed at gunpoint by robbers in the presence of  three Policemen near a checkpoint in  Abuja.

The man who was pained took to his twitter account to share his story.

He wrote; “Guys, ABUJA Is Not Safe. Be Careful. @PoliceNG is a Joke. My Phone was snatched at gunpoint right before three Policemen at a checkpoint today.

“I closed from work at Central area, I came out to get a cab because I know that Place Called Masalaci junction is a danger Zone, I stayed off.

“After being there for a while without getting a Cab,decided to move close to the Police checkpoint to wait for a Cab since many were Passing.

“Thought I could trust the Police to prevent any form Of insecurity at that point but I was wrong

“Two guys came close to me thinking they were waiting for a Cab too, but I was wrong. They were about to carry out their criminal activity

“One held a gun to my stomach, the other held a knife to my neck and told me to submit all I have quietly. I quickly dropped my Phone

“Then they searched my pocket and took my cash and immediately ran under the bridge close by. I was less than 20 metres away from three Policemen.

“How they didn’t see those boys rob me is still a shock. So I decided to approach the Policemen after the boys flee. I was shocked this time

“So I asked Policemen if they didn’t see what happened to me right in front of them. One said ‘Why U Dey Ask Us, Face Your Road Abeg

“That moment, I lost hope because I thought their Presence was to Prevent such but it’s a Lie. So guys, your security is God And yourself.

“And all these happened at exactly 8.25pm today. I’m not even bothered about the robbers but hose who were meant to Protect life and Property.”
