The official Instagram account of the Nigerian men national team – Super Eagles has been hacked.
The breach is coming just before the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers draw which holds in Cairo, Egypt on Tuesday evening.
While the handle @ng_supereagles remained the same with the blue tick indicating it is still a verified account, the name on the account has, however, been changed to Asena Saribatur.
According to the new profile on the account, Saribatur is a stylist, influencer and fashion journalist based in Istanbul, Turkey.
All contents about the Super Eagles’ have been deleted from the page and replaced with photos from the stylist.
