Former United States President Donald Trump has mocked pop star Taylor Swift after she was reportedly booed during the Super Bowl on Sunday.

The game, held at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, saw the Kansas City Chiefs suffer a 40-22 defeat to the Philadelphia Eagles.

Trump, who attended the Super Bowl—making history as the first sitting U.S. president to do so—left the game shortly after halftime. Despite his early exit, he took to his social media platform, Truth Social, to take a swipe at Swift, who was at the event to support her boyfriend, Chiefs star Travis Kelce.

“The only one that had a tougher night than the Kansas City Chiefs was Taylor Swift,” Trump posted. “She got BOOED out of the stadium. MAGA is very unforgiving!”

Trump also reposted a message from another account that mocked Swift while highlighting the warm reception he received from the crowd. The post read, “Trump gets massive cheers at the Super Bowl while Taylor Swift gets booed – the world is healing!”

When Trump appeared on the stadium’s big screen, he was met with loud cheers from fans as he saluted while the U.S. national anthem played.

Swift, known for her support of Trump’s political rival Kamala Harris during the 2024 U.S. presidential election, has been a frequent target of Trump’s criticism. Following her endorsement of Harris, Trump had posted, “I hate Taylor Swift,” on Truth Social.

Swift attended the Super Bowl with friends, including Alana Haim, Este Haim, and Danielle Haim, along with other celebrities.
