Trevor Noah, the Emmy Award-winning comedian, is set to host the Grammy Awards for the fourth consecutive year, as revealed on his Spotify podcast, “What Now? With Trevor Noah.”
Expressing his excitement, he mentioned enjoying the opportunity to watch and comment on the show in person. Noah, who made his Grammy stage debut in 2021, confirmed the news via Instagram, inviting viewers to tune in on February 4, 2024, at 8 pm on CBS.
“I’m hosting the Grammys. I’m excited about that, yeah,” he said. “It’s a lot of fun. I enjoy the Grammys because I get to watch the show in person and then experience and comment on it in person while it’s happening.”
The Recording Academy praised Noah for creating a seamless and engaging experience for both live and remote audiences in previous shows, acknowledging his skillful blend of humor and deep appreciation for music.
The 66th Grammy Awards will take place at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
In addition to hosting, the South African comedian is nominated in the Best Comedy Album category for his Netflix project, “I Wish You Would.”
This nomination follows his first Grammy nod in 2020 for “Son of Patricia,” also recognized in the Best Comedy Album category.
