Travellers stranded as protesting drivers block Kaduna-Abuja highway [Video & Photos]
Travellers plying the Abuja-Kaduna highway have been trapped for hours as protesting drivers of articulated vehicles blocked both lanes of the road on Friday morning.
“They shouldn’t have taken this measure considering the Eid-el-Kabir festival, which is just two days from today,” a passenger, Musa Garba said.
The appropriate authority should please act as fast as possible to address this issue considering the nature of Abuja – Kaduna Expressway in recent times. It’s a weekend and also a season that many will be traveling to meet families for sallah. pic.twitter.com/nOPcPyMVaU
