Brentford manager Thomas Frank has emphasized that only an exceptional offer would prompt them to part ways with Ivan Toney during the January transfer window.

Despite strong links to Arsenal, the 27-year-old striker, currently serving an eight-month betting-related suspension, is scheduled to make his return on January 20.

Ahead of Brentford’s FA Cup third-round clash against Wolves, Frank affirmed that Toney will remain with the club beyond the winter transfer window.

“He is a Brentford player, he is here, we miss a few offensive players, and I cannot see why we should sell him.

“It is not for me to discuss (an offer), but if I could ever recommend one, it would need to be an unbelievable price, so he will stay here,” Frank said.
