Leeds United have reached an agreement with Manchester United for the signing of Welsh forward, Daniel James, on a permernent deal.
The deal is set to be around €28m with add ons and the Welshman has agreed on personal terms, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The 23-year-old who almost joined Leeds more than two years ago on a loan deal joined Unite from Swansea in 2019 for £15m.
The arrival of Jadon Sancho for £73m from Borussia Dortmund and the imminent arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo from Juventus pushed the Welshman down the pecking order.
James who has struggled to cement a permanent spot in Ole Gunnar Solskjær’s first team appeared to have played his last game in a United jersey on Sunday against Wolves.
Meanwhile, Ivory Coast youngster, Amad Diallo’s proposed loan move to Feyernood has been called off after he suffered a thigh injury in training that will keep him out for six weeks.
Diallo who featured for Ivory Coast in the just concluded 2020 Tokyo Olympics was set to leave Old Trafford for more experience at the Dutch club.
However, Eredivisie side’s sporting director Frank Arnesen confirmed they will not be pursuing a deal in this window.
