England star, Harry Kane, has called of his potential move to Premier League champions, Manchester City after committing his future to Tottenham.
Kane who was poised to force a move to City made the announcement on Twitter on Wednesday, bringing an end to month-long speculations about his future.
Having expressed his desire for major silverware in the league, the 28-year-old failed to turn up on time for pre-season training after Euro 2020 campaign with the Three Lions.
The £150million-rated forward tweeted, “It was incredible to see the reception from the Spurs fans on Sunday and to read some of the messages of support I’ve had in the last few weeks. 👏⚽
“I will be staying at Tottenham this summer and will be 100% focused on helping the team achieve success #COYS.”
Kane whose Spurs contract runs until 2024 played his first match of the season for the club against Wolves on Sunday.
