No fewer than six students of St Mary’s Nyamagwa Girls High School in Kenya have been reported to have died early Friday morning after their school bus was involved in a road accident at Nyambunde along Kisii-Kilgoris road.
Citizens digital reports that the students were travelling in celebration of the arrival of their new school bus when suddenly the school bus somersaulted severally.
It was learnt that apart from the six students who died instantly, other students were injured during the incident.
The injured were rushed to the Kisii Teaching and Referral Hospital for treatment, the report added.
Police had to intervene as a parents of the injured students stormed the hospital to see their injured children.
