Tragedy struck the town of Ughelli, Delta State, after five friends were involved in a car accident on Friday night.

It was gathered that the deceased identified as Tonero, Clinton, Justice, Lawson and happy were out to celebrate a friend who acquired a new car, Instablog reports.

According to reports, the owner of the car was not among the five persons that lost their lives.

The yet-to-be-identified owner of the car was at G-luck hotel at Ekiugbo.

He said his spirit didn’t allow him to go with them, so they took the car key from him and left but unfortunately none of them came back alive.

“It was on their way back to the hotel that they rammed into a parked trailer in the area and they died. Their corpse have been moved to a morgue.”
