Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham has addressed accusations made by a fashion designer, @stitchesbyandra, who claims that Toyin, Annie Idibia, and Gabriel Anthony owe her millions of naira for custom-made outfits provided over a year ago.

The designer took to Instagram, expressing frustration about the alleged debt, saying, “My patience is running out already. 1 year and 2 months. How can you be with someone’s millions and feel so reluctant?”

However, Toyin Abraham swiftly responded to the allegations on Friday night, denying any involvement in the unpaid debt and providing clarification about the situation.

In a statement, Toyin explained that the misunderstanding occurred during the production of her movie *Malaika*, where the designer’s dresses were used for a runway scene. Toyin revealed that Gabriel, a member of her team, introduced the designer to her and was responsible for handling the dresses after the shoot.

Toyin stated, “During the production of *Malaika*, we needed dresses for a runway scene. Gabriel introduced his friend, the designer, who provided some of the dresses. After the shoot, I returned the dresses to Gabriel, and he later informed the designer that they were borrowed by someone else. This is no longer my responsibility.”

She expressed her disappointment about being dragged into the issue and emphasized her clean track record in business dealings. “I hope this clears the confusion. Screenshots of the conversation between the designer and Gabriel will be included for further proof,” Toyin added.

In response, the designer expressed her dissatisfaction with Toyin’s explanation. She insisted that the dresses were delivered directly to Toyin, saying, “These outfits were handed over to you. Now there are stories concerning the dresses, and you want to exclude yourself? I delivered six custom-made dresses, and this is 1 year and 3 months later. You want me to keep quiet?”

The designer further emphasized that she was not informed about the dresses being transferred to a third party.
