Tottenham snatch dramatic draw against Man City
Tottenham secured a thrilling 3-3 draw at the Etihad Stadium, ending their losing streak, thanks to a late header from Dejan Kulusevski.
The game took an unexpected turn when Yves Bissouma’s mistake allowed Jack Grealish to score, seemingly sealing victory for Manchester City.
Despite facing injury challenges, Spurs, under Ange Postecoglou’s bold playing style, initially took the lead with a well-executed break and a goal from Son Heung-min.
Defensive issues, however, allowed City to equalize with an own goal from Son and take the lead with a crafted move finished by Phil Foden.
In the second half, Tottenham fought back, leveling through Giovanni Lo Celso.
The dramatic late equalizer by Kulusevski salvaged a point, but not without controversy, as a stoppage for an earlier foul on Erling Haaland interrupted a potential goal-scoring opportunity for Jack Grealish in injury time.
The draw extends Tottenham’s unbeaten run against City to four matches and will come as a major boost to their hopes of securing a Champions League spot.
