Tunisia 2019: Nigeria Para-Athletics wins six gold, four silver Medals
The Nigeria Para-Athletics contingents to the just-concluded Para Athletics Grand Prix Competition in Tunisia won six gold medals and four silver.
The team’s Technical Director, Peter Ojo, made the disclosure on Monday in an interview with News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Ado-Ekiti.
“Christian Ifeanyi has three gold medals, Lauretta Onye one gold and two silver, Flora Ugwunwa one gold and one silver, Uwak Uyine one gold in 200 meters and one silver in 100 meters.
“In all, the Nigerian contingents won 10 medals,” Ojo said without giving the para-athletes second names.
Nigeria was ranked 55 out of the 35 countries that participated in the tournament.
